Purpose of role

Dentons has an exciting new opportunity for a well-organized, enthusiastic Analyst who is looking for the chance to launch a career in Dentons Helix and play a part in supporting a dynamic, fast-paced global law firm.

The Dentons Helix is critical to meeting these changing needs of the legal industry and as a growing team, we have an opportunity for an Analyst to join our team.

You will work closely with Operations Managers, providing them with reports, and assisting with client activities such as billing, and general administration. Our goal provides clients with an exceptional level of service throughout the full client engagement.

We are looking for high-performing candidates who have experience in producing reports, coordinating activities, and managing finances.  

Responsibilities
  • Support Operations Managers to manage, coordinate and improve efficiency in the delivery of client matters
  • Gather, compile and analyze ad hoc data in a logical and efficient manner
  • Run standard reports for clients
  • Use written communication to clearly and effectively present information, ideas, and approaches
  • Provide input into producing tracking and progress reports
  • Conduct the billing and invoicing for clients
  • Contribute to problem-solving by suggesting appropriate ideas for options and recommendations
  • Deliver appropriately structured deliverables without significant guidance
  • Support with admin tasks such as organizing meetings, taking minutes, and tracking actions
  • Support internal Dentons Helix initiatives
Required experience, skills and attributes
  • A strong academic record of graduate level
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools – Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint
  • Strong budgeting and numeracy skills
  • Ability to work flexibly in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Highly organized with excellent prioritization and planning skills
  • Quick to learn new skills
  • Willing to take on responsibility
  • Confident communicator with the ability to interact at all level
  • Excellent attention to detail
